What we repair
Most fence problems across Perth come down to a handful of causes. These are the repairs we do most:

Storm-damaged fencing. Perth gets a handful of serious fronts through winter and they take fences with them every time. We’ll get the fence stood back up and secured, and quote the permanent repair.
Leaning and loose posts. Nearly always a footing problem. Perth sand doesn’t hold a post that wasn’t concreted deep enough, and once one post moves the run either side follows. We reset posts properly rather than packing sand back around them.
Broken or bent Colorbond sheets. A car reversed into it, a tree came down on it, a trailer clipped it. Individual sheets can usually be replaced without pulling out the whole run.

Repair usually makes sense when:
- The damage is localised
- The posts are sound
- The rest of the run is in good condition
- The fence has years left in it
Replacement usually makes sense when: several posts are moving, the timber is rotting along the whole run, you’re repairing the same fence for the second or third time, or the repair cost is closing in on the cost of a new fence that’ll last twenty years.

Can you repair just one section of fence?
Yes. Individual Colorbond sheets, single posts and single panels can usually be replaced without touching the rest of the run. Whether the colour will match exactly depends on how old the existing fence is — steel fades, and a new sheet in a twenty-year-old run will show.
My fence is leaning. Can it be straightened?
Usually. A leaning fence is almost always a post that wasn’t concreted deep enough for Perth sand, or a post that’s rotted at ground level. Both are repairable — the post gets reset or replaced with a proper footing. Straightening it without fixing the footing just delays the same problem.
Do you do storm damage repairs?

A repair is cheaper on the day. It’s only cheaper overall if the rest of the fence has real life left in it. If several posts are moving or the timber is going along the whole run, you’ll spend the same money twice. We’ll tell you which one your fence is at the quote.
